SOCIAL WORK

“No this wasn’t intended, it wasn’t planned, there was no scope of it happening, but 2 years down the line I am so proud it happened. Every Saturday evening used to be ‘football evening’ for all my friends and adults in my locality gathered for a heated football match. But that particular Saturday of June, 2018 was not about football, it was about these little plantlets that will one day grow as a symbol of life, prosperity and more importantly the efforts of a few kids who tried to repay the unrepayable debt that our environment has on us.  Me and my friends with the help of two adults planted 1112 seeds, in the circumference of the ground located at the back of my society. Plants varied from Neem plants, to Tulsi to Eucalyptus and Mahogany to some flowers and simple vegetables, we planted all sorts of vegetation.”
